Drinking water tests
Labsco’s laboratories offer a drinking water analysis service to owners of artesian or surface wells. Labsco’s scientists will be able to advise you on the water tests to be performed and on the recommended frequency of tests. Our laboratories’ scientists make sure to accompany you in your choice of water analysis and also make sure that the results are clear. If your water is not safe to drink, according to the Quebec Drinking Water Quality Regulations, our scientists will make sure to advise and guide you in your decisions.
Labsco’s microbiology lab offers the following tests for drinking water:

Labsco’s Chemistry Laboratory also offers the following physical and chemical tests:
Alkalinity – Chlorides – Conductivity – Copper – Iron – Orthophosphates – pH – Phosphorus – Total dissolved solid – Turbidity

Pool water testing: swimming pools, fountains, beaches and artificial lakes
Labsco’s analytical services are aimed at owners of campsites, hotels or water parks who wish to have their water tested in their swimming pools, artificial or natural lakes and fountains.

Closed loop water testing
Owners of heating and cooling water systems, whether or not they contain antifreeze, must ensure that the physical and chemical parameters of their water are optimal in order to avoid corrosion of their installation or freezing, which would cause costly damage. Labsco’s laboratories offer the following closed loop water tests to ensure that your installations are compliant:
- pH
- Alkalinity
- Conductivity
- Iron
- Copper
- Corrosion inhibitor (ex molybdenums, organophosphonates, phosphates, etc.)
- Estimated freezing point
- Composition in glycol as a percentage
- Type of glycol
